to do cleaning and preparing all bake wares

to attend to customers enquiries
- Maintain
regular and consistance attendance and punctuality
- Help
and assist other team mates as and when needed
- Perform
other tasks assigned by superior
Responsibilities
- Ensures
the highest food quality appropriate is carried out in the pastry and
bakery section.
- Creativity:
Pastry chefs are often in charge of creating new and innovative breads and
desserts that will bring in customers. Knowledge of ingredients and how to
use them in a creative way will serve you well.
- Ensures
stock is adequate for pastry section
- Supervises
the proper set-up of each item on menus and ensures their readiness
- Stores
unused food properly to minimise waste and maximise quality
- Assists
in stock control presentation
- Works
closely with Chef’s to ensure correct preparation and presentation and
food quality is maintained
- Supervises
Kitchen staff to make sure sweets and bread is to the highest level
- Rolls,
cuts, and shapes dough to form tarts, cookies and related products
preparatory to baking
- Observes
colour of products being baked and turns thermostat or other controls to
adjust oven temperature
- Clean
and prepare all bake wares
